Backed by a 15-year waterproofing warranty, this unique, state-of-the-art product is a waterproofing concrete sealer and concrete stain in one. It waterproofs concrete to protect against water, efflorescence, spalling, salts, and freeze-thaw, while also delivering a spectacular semi-translucent variegated look similar to acid staining but with many more color options. Penetrating deeply into the concrete (2"-4"), it strengthens and waterproofs the surface, akin to filling the pores with epoxy.

Unlike traditional sealers, this solution does not leave a film, shine, or slippery finish. It can be used to beautify dull outdoor concrete like driveways, sidewalks, patios, and pool decks, as well as stain indoor concrete floors in basements, slab-on-grade floors, hallways, dining rooms, lobbies, and offices. For an added luster and protective layer, a glossy clear coating (acrylic, urethane, epoxy) can be applied over the stained concrete.

Environmentally friendly, this water-based formula contains no acids and has ultra-low VOCs, with no strong odors. It is easy to apply using a standard pump-up garden sprayer. However, the concrete surface must be clean, thoroughly dry, and porous, with the ability to absorb water rather than bead it. If the surface is too tight, such as hard-troweled, stamped, burnished, or polished concrete, the stain pigments will not penetrate and may easily wash off.

New concrete is too caustic, with a pH that must be between 6 and 9. For the best results, it is recommended to always acid-etch or grind the concrete first, then neutralize the surface with baking soda, ammonia, or an alkaline cleaner. Before full application, it is essential to test the stain in an inconspicuous area, allowing it to cure for three days and attempting to rub it off with a wet rag - the stain should not come off. Proper application is crucial, as over-applying can be detrimental.

The approximate coverage rates are as follows: Poured Concrete - 200 sq.ft./gal, Concrete Blocks - 100-150 sq.ft./gal, and Cinder Block & Split Face Block - 75-125 sq.ft./gal.
