Surface Preparation: Before applying the paint, it is essential to remove dirt, mildew, grease, wax, soap residue, and any loose or peeling paint. Glossy areas must be dulled by sanding. All bare, new wood and factory-primed wood should be primed with an oil-based primer, while masonry surfaces, including cementitious siding, should be primed with a latex primer.

Application: Stir or mix the paint thoroughly before use and intermix all containers for color uniformity. Apply the paint using a high-quality brush, roller, or pad painter. If necessary, thin the paint sparingly with water for spraying. Avoid over-spreading the paint. The application temperature must be above 50°F (10°C). The average coverage is approximately 400 square feet (37 square meters) per gallon (3.78 L). For best performance, apply two coats of paint on new surfaces after priming. Do not use this paint indoors.

Dry Time: The paint dries in 1 to 2 hours. Allow it to dry overnight before applying a second coat. Low temperatures or high humidity may increase the drying time.

Cleanup: Use warm water and soap to clean up.

Satin Finish: Satin finishes are among the most commonly used exterior paints. They effectively resist mildew, are easier to clean than flat or eggshell finishes, and can be wiped down or lightly scrubbed. Satin paints are ideal for painting siding in good to excellent condition, as they shed water effectively and do not fade quickly from the sun. Prestige Paints' interior and exterior paint when applied according to all label directions on a properly prepared service is warranted for a lifetime. This warranty excludes failure due to structural defects, failure of previous paint or deterioration of the underlying service. If for any reason this paint fails to perform according to the above warranty, return the container with receipt to the store where purchased for replacement paint, or at your option, a refund of the purchase price. This warranty does not include labor or the cost of labor for paint application or removal. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may have other rights, which vary, from state to state.
